2 February 2012

Well my little boy started school today and after watching me make and photograph his sister's lunchbox for as long as he can remember, we had to do his yesterday afternoon (apart from the sandwich which we did this morning) as he was so excited to be getting involved.  He was dressed and had his lunchbox out and ready this morning before I had even had a shower.  So I had to show you what he had....box milk, watermelon, honeydew melon, cucumber, snow peas, cherry tomatoes, pickles, olives and a salmon and avocado sandwich....he basically wanted everything we had in the fridge.  When he then announced he wanted corn as well I explained to him that tomorrow there would be another lunchbox and there was no need to have everything today!  He also wanted a sandwich cut into a dinosaur shape but we didn't have the room.

So there is the power of peer pressure.  Suddenly Lulu wanted her sandwich in a dinosaur shape too.

So Lulu had a box milk, dinosaur shaped salmon and avocado sandwiches, cucumber, raspberries (you can tell her Nana visited yesterday as she always brings Lulu raspberries!) and some home made mini sausage rolls.  Yum - I just had some of those for my lunch!!

Can't wait to see how Tyga (pronounced Tiger) went on his first day - almost time for pick up!

Dinosaur shape sandwich cutter is $3.90 from your local Homecare Representative - on the Northern Beaches of Sydney it's Caryn.  Check out the catalogue at homecare.com.au or contact her on 0405 321 806
